Hi im back!!
Carrieann is doing really well now, we had a few set backs as her body was rejecting the calcium in her body, which if it drops too low or goes too hig can cause heart and organ failure. She ended up in Northampton A&E for a day or two whilst they tried to get her stable. At the moment it is all going well...
Mums skin cancer is healing ok, although its not going as quick as we had hoped, but its going!
I had a scare recently after i found a lump in my breast, something told me it was ok but i couldnt wait for 6-8 weeks for a scan on the NHS, so paid to go private. Thankfully it is just a cyst and will go when its ready.
I have been planning some events we are doing a bikers chips n fish run to the Hunstanton coast in june for the day and im asking all those who attend to make a small donation towards my target.
I have got ideas for some more alternative ways to raise funds too!! ;)

update
well mum Teresa has at last had her operation to remove the cancer from her right hand and lower leg. This went very well on Thursday 18th nov. They also did the skin grafts which has left mum feeling very sore. She is ok in herself just very tierd. We just have to wait for the results now.
It was my 40th birthday on the 15th nov, so i had a rock n roll party. I asked guests to make a donation for each song request. We raised £16.75, everyone had a wonderful time and i spent all night dancing away.
Carrieann is getting better each day and her energy levels are getting better each day.

GOOD NEWS!
On Tuesday 19th October, Carrieann went to see the oncologist with james and JJ. He was very pleased to inform Carrieann that the treatment was working! The cancer is dying and she has the all clear! At last some good news that the battle is being won. She has to return in the new year for tests to make sure it has stayed away, and again in july.
Mum Teresa went in for her surgery on the 27th October to have the skin cancer removed from her hand and leg. Unfortunately two children were brought in needing emergency surgery, so mum did not get it done. She is ok with this and they will call her back when they can.
In the meantime, Mum , jim me bandit and cat all flew to see my sister in spain for my nephews 18th birthday. She lives up a mountain and is an ideal spot to get in some seriously short but steep walks. She has a 1 in 10 hill opposite her villa so i made use of it twice a day, as well as walking around the area.
My sister paula invited us to join her family on the locals trip to Moclin in granada to a museum, church, castle and then for a meal after a SHORT 45 min walk.
We ended up doing about 12km in the blazing sun with no water in the middle of nowhere and ended up in Puerto lope at a large hotel. The coach found us after a call to mum and jim at paulas villa to find a contact number so we could ask the coaches to come and save us lol!
We had watched the coaches take the road we had followed from the top of the mountain, when they had gone past us. We had even asked the coach drivers for directions and followed them.( paula and her husband, and two boys all speak spanish fluently) We also asked locals in the village of Tiena as we passed through, and they had directed us the same way. I am sure they did it on purpose lol.
We never did get our meal. We got back to our cars and headed straight for the bar, who quickly did us egg n chips and cold drinks before heading home for a shower and bed!
Following morning i was expecting to be as stiff and as sore as anything, but i was fine. Poor clive had blisters on blisters the size of his whole heel bless him.
It was a brilliant kickstart for me tho, and ive walked a few miles each day since to try and keep on top of it, and build on it.

Update
Well, we now have two fighters in the family!
Yesterday my mum was told she has skin cancer on her hand, face and leg. The leg is the worse, but we dont think she will be needing a wooden one just yet! You have to laugh about these things too keep you and the fighter sane! They are going to give her surgery for her hand and leg, but can treat her face with creams, so it is looking good. The cancer on her leg is more aggressive though so may take more treatment. She has had this for ten years and Drs kept telling her it was psoriasis.
Carrieann got a little upset when i told her, but soon realised that two fighters together are stronger than one.
We wish them all the best and know that cancer has met it match.
Love you all xxx
